Dave Stallions, call sign "6 King 1"
Dave is the senior handler and has been a peace officer approximately 10 years. Prior to joining the West Sacramento Police Department, Dave worked at the University of Davis Police department. Dave has been a handler for 7 years, his first partner "Cody" was retired in 2005 after being involved in several hundred arrests and numerous successful narcotic searches and finds. Dave also placed in several Western State Canine competitions. Dave's current partner "Chance" is trained for patrol, explosive detection and tracking. Dave also serves as a department range master. |
Geoff Albert, call sign "6 King 2"
Geoff has been a peace officer approximately 7 years. Geoff's partner "Taz" aka Taz the spaz, have been teamed up for almost four years. Geoff and Taz are have been involved in several hundred arrests and special operations. Geoff and Taz have made numerous visits to schools, churches, senior centers and other events. Geoff and Taz were seen showing off their finely tuned talents on September 17, 2006 for a canine demonstration on "Good Day Sacramento.'' Taz is trained for patrol and tracking. Geoff also serves as a range master and driving instructor for the police department. |
