Sergeant Jennifer Grillat is the K-9 unit coordinator and Lieutenant Deanna Stevens is the unit administrator.

6K1 Dave Stallions has been a peace officer over thirteen years. Previously he worked for the UC Davis Police Department. He is the senior handler and the WSK9 Association President. Dave has been a handler for ten years. K-9 Chance is a five year old German Shepherd K-9 trained for patrol functions and cross-trained for EOD. Dave is a department rangemaster and a POST K-9 Evaluator. Previously Dave had K-9 Cody the Wonderdog.

6K3 Roger Kinney has been a peace officer over seventeen years and K-9 handler over seven years. He has worked for the Union City PD, Elk Grove School PD, Sacramento PD, Marysville PD, Yuba S/O and CDC. K-9 Zar is three years old, he is Roger's third K-9. Zar is trained for patrol functions and narcotics detection. Roger is also a department recruiter and assists in coordinating the departments field training program. Zar placed 9th overall for patrol competition in the Western State Police Canine Association in 2009.
